El Mhazil is our little secret: a dune field an hour and a half by track from the village, along the edge of Jbel Bani. The dunes are lower than Chegaga’s, and that is the point — no other camp, no other 4x4, just your group, the crest and the sky.
You leave late in the afternoon so the whole track is in the best light, climb the ridge for sunset, and eat tagine and sand-baked bread by the fire. Sleep in the nomad tent or outside under the stars; a dawn walk in the cool sand, breakfast, and you are back in the village by half past ten.

Settle in, then climb the crest for sunset.

Tagine, sand-baked bread, tea, drums if the mood takes it. Night in a nomad tent or under the stars.
Day 2 · 07:30 — Sunrise and return
A walk in the dunes while it is cool, breakfast, back in the village by 10:30.
