How much does camel trekking in Morocco cost?
Compare the same journey before comparing the price. A camp night, a short ride and a walking trek pay for very different things.

The figures below come from our published trip catalogue. They are starting prices per person, based on two travellers; they are not a survey of every operator in Morocco. Your dates, party size and any changes to the itinerary determine the written quote. A request does not reserve a departure.

What changes the total?
The starting point makes a substantial difference. A journey from Marrakech includes road travel that a departure from Foum Zguid does not. Do not compare a city-to-desert circuit with a trek starting at the desert gateway as though the transport were identical.
Group size, length of stay and accommodation also matter. Private transport and guides are shared costs; the cost per traveller can change with the number of people. Ask for a total for your own group rather than multiplying a headline rate and assuming the result is final.
- Confirm the meeting point and the final drop-off.
- Count nights in the desert separately from nights in towns.
- Specify mobile camp, fixed camp and any requested private facilities.
- Ask whether optional activities or extra nights change the price.
Included does not always mean all-inclusive
Each product page lists its inclusions and exclusions. On the three-day camel trek, the catalogue includes the mobile bivouac, full board from the first lunch to the final lunch, water and tea, and the return vehicle to Foum Zguid. Other drinks and tips are excluded.
A camp-only booking does not include transport to the camp. Some city-departure circuits exclude lunches. These differences are easy to miss when comparing headline prices.
Ask for a useful written quote
Send your preferred dates, number of adults and children, starting point, desired duration and accommodation expectations. Mention dietary requests and anything that affects walking or riding. The proposal should identify your route, nights, transport, included meals and the group total.
Before paying, obtain the deposit, balance deadline, accepted payment method and cancellation terms that apply to your departure. Keep that confirmation with your travel documents.
