The three-day circuit gives you one evening and one morning in the dunes. This version keeps everything — the Atlas, Aït Ben Haddou, the guesthouse night in Foum Zguid, the crossing of Lac Iriki — and adds the one thing travellers say they wished they had: a full day inside Erg Chegaga with nothing to drive.
That day is spent on foot in the big dunes while the sand is cool, then in the shade of the sacred oasis of Oum Laâlag, before a second night at the bivouac. The road home runs through the Draa valley, so no stretch is driven twice.

Itinerary
Day 1 — Marrakech · Aït Ben Haddou · Foum Zguid
Pickup at your accommodation, the Tizi n’Tichka pass, Aït Ben Haddou, lunch in Taznakht, arrival in Foum Zguid in the late afternoon. Night in a guesthouse.
Day 2 — Foum Zguid · Lac Iriki · Erg Chegaga
Onto the track: the lake, the Colorado marocain, the fossil plateau, nomad lunch. Sunset camel ride at the dunes, Berber dinner, first bivouac night.
Day 3 — A day in the erg
A morning walk through the big dunes, lunch and rest at the Oum Laâlag oasis, return along the ridges. Second night at the bivouac.
Day 4 — Erg Chegaga · Draa valley · Marrakech
Sunrise in the erg, then the drive home through the Draa valley and Ouarzazate, arriving in the evening.

How is it different from the 3-day circuit?
One more night at the bivouac and a whole day in the erg — dune walks and the Oum Laâlag oasis — instead of leaving the morning after you arrive.
Private?
Yes: the 4x4, the guide and the pace are yours. The price is per person for two and drops for four to six.
Can we end somewhere else?
Drop-off in Ouarzazate, Zagora or Agadir is possible with an adjusted rate.
Season?
Year-round on the road; the bivouac from September to early June. In July–August the dune nights are replaced by the oasis.
